I have to show you this sneak peek of SLink's soon to be released Lorelei hair! It is a casual side ponytail and perfect in every way. The sculpts and textures are amazing and includes a texture changing HUD! You just wear the HUD, click on the color you want and the hair re-textures itself. It's pretty damn amazing, and I loooooooooove it.

The Color & Texture Changer HUD has 27 colors to choose from! Here is a small sampling of the colors available:

RP Couture

[ RP Couture - Renewel No. 4 Sage | RP Couture - Renewal No. 3 Lavender ]

RP Couture is the newest brand from Raven Pennyfeather (of Rfyre) and it is yum!! RP Couture is a step away from the Gothic and dark luscious colors that we know from Rfyre and into bright and pastel colors. It's totally awesome and just in time for Spring!!

I would never have guessed the designer because this is just so different from Rfyre but I love it when designers try new things. I love the matching sculpted hats that comes with the Renewal gowns.

The skirt in the Renewal No. 5 is huuuuuuge and sparkley and gorgeous. This one is special and is slightly diffrent from the others. It doesn't come with a hat but there's a sculpted scarf and a different skirt style.

AOHARU Monroe Gradation Dress

AOHARU has just released the beautiful Monroe Gradation dress in bright happy colors!! I love the textures and of course since it's AOHARU, it's just perfect. I have paired this dress with some flip-flops from DETOUR, for a totally casual and beachy look.

The Duchess Gowns by Wunderlichs

Wunderlichs has for gorgeous gowns inspired by the movie 'The Duchess' based on the real life story of the Duchess of Devonshire, Georgiana. I've been reading The Duchess and I've finally finished last night!! I can't wait to see the movie version!

Here's the SL interpretation of the gowns worn in the movie and I think they are just as fabulous!! Great attention to detail and texturing on these gowns.

Mimikri 'Moo' Dress!

Mimikri has just released the Moo dress in a bunch of yummy Spring colors! I immediately fell in love with the teal & pink, knowing that it would look really well with Gala's latest skins. Gorgeous stuffffffffff. Here is the Moo dress in Teal and Pink!

The 'Moo' dress includes two skirt options: a pencil skirt and a flower skirt (all prim!). Both ways are gorgeous, but I like the flower skirt more because it's so girlie and pretty.

I am loving the new Gala skins sooo much, you're going to see it back to back more than a few times from now on this blog :D It's no secret I wear Gala quite often because the skins are beautiful and I love face and everything about it.

AOHARU Wedding Dress!

AOHARU has just released the Rose Lace Wedding Dress in fantastic Spring colors! There's White, for those who are traditional and Blue, Pink and Yellow too! These are the first sculpted train and fully sculpted veil that I've ever seen, and they look amazing in-world.

The lace detail is amazing and sculpted roses are cleverly placed all over the dress.

I really like taking photos in wedding gowns, and I think a lot of girls do too! Even if you don't plan on getting married, buy a dozen, buy them all!! A wedding dress is really just a dress, right? :)

New Hair at Exile!

Happy Sunday everyone! Lots of new goodies on the grid today!

Exile has just released the Whitney hair and it is hot! The wispy hair strands framing the face and shaggy layers all around make this do a must have. What do you think? I love it! Shown here is the Whitney in 'Mink', dark & sexy!

The 'Eva Turtleneck' worn above is an exclusive group gift from Pink Outfitters! Tp there and click the subscribe-o-matic to get it. I am pairing this top with the latest release from Maitreya's, the Jules jeans skirt. The texturing is great but because it's sculpted, it makes wearing it kind of difficult. It looks great in certain poses but so-so if the pose has your legs parted too wide.

This is one of the newer faces, the Vixen also includes all the features I've posted about previously, there are different makeups for this set. Also, the 'Vixen' have darker brows, and totally new lips and a different nose than the previously shown 'Breeze'. This combination makes for a slightly more mature looking face, great for those wanting to use them in modeling or just likes a slightly older look than previous Gala skins.

BLUE BLOOD has just released two fun outfits!

The 'Gina' is a Pirate Ballet costume that includes the dress and matching boots. I love the corset top and the asymmetrical skirt, a very cute look.

The 'Mimo' outfit is is a fun costume that might be good for Mardi Gras parties coming up! Big poofy sculpted pant legs and sculpted sleeves, along with a matching pair of Ballet Boots and a hat.

These Holding Bears are from Beyonce's Shop and they are big and adorable!!!! The bears are textured in colorful check pattern or stripe pattern, and includes a 'holding' pose. Each bear is only $30L!!!!!! Collect them all, they make a great decor for your home.

New Gala Skins, OMG!!

Gala Phoenix will be launching three lovely new faces, they are Breeze, Lovely, and Vixen. Each face has four skin tones: Acorn, Moonbeam, Petal, and Sundust and each skin tone has a Light and Dark version. There are six new makeups, but really it's twelve because each 'makeup' now includes two lipstick versions. I feel like Gala has totally spoiled her customers this time with so many choices!

When you purchase a makeup, you're not just getting one skin, but four different ones. For example, if you buy:

Last but not least, there are more details to the body and a sexy new 'afterglow' look :) I love the beach-y look, and this new body shading adds a sexy effect that lots of people loooove. Sexy or sweet, I find Gala skins very versatile for any look in SL and I wear it a lot. I'm very very very excited about these and I know Gala skin fans will be too!

How to use a Resize Script

In this tutorial, I will show you how to use a resize script to easily modify hair, this is especially useful if you're not that great with modding prims via the edit menu. I like using this script for hair fatpacks, since I want them to be resized 'the same way' each time.

Typically for me, most hairs are too small so the scalp shows through the prim. This script can be used to shrink or resize by increments of 1%, 5%, or 10%. The script I am using for this tutorial is the SRU Resize scripts 2.4 by Wietse Cassini. Look up the creator's profile for picks to his shop.

Step 1. Rez your hair on the ground (be sure to make a backup copy first!).

Step 2. Locate your scipt in your inventory.

Step 3. Right click on your hair on the ground, and select EDIT from the pie menu.

Step 4. Drag all 3 resize scripts (resize controller, resize distributor, and resize resizer) into the Content tab of your hair.

Step 5. Touch your hair to populate the script throughout the prims. The hair I'm using is Maitreya's 'Faye' style, so this is what the script whispered...

Step 6. Once that's done, delete the resize distributor script from the hair.

Step 7. Take the hair back to your inventory.

Step 8. Wear it and select the hair again by right clicking on it and go to EDIT, once the Edit menu for the hair pops up...

Step 9. Go to TOOLS on the client menu, and select 'Set Scripts to Running in Selection'. This step is crucial, if you don't do this the script will not work!

Once you have selected 'Set Scripts to Running in Selection' a menu should pop up that looks like this:

Wait for that to say 'done', then click on your hair to start resizing via the menu! :)

If everything was done correctly, you will be able to resize the hair via the menu and also the traditional edit menu at the same time.

This may seem like a lot of steps at first, but it'll be second nature once you do it a lot. I like to use this method when resizing fatpacks of hair for uniformity.

This tutorial applies to anything you want to resize, not just hair! I hope it helps! :)

Evie's Closet Aventide Gown

Evie's Closet will be releasing this gorgeous Aventide gown soon! I am wearing the Aventide gown in Pink, but it's more of a rich deep Pinkish Purple color. Lurve this gown!! It comes with two sleeve options and two skirts (flower and ball gown) and gorgeous decorative collars. The 'flower' version is perfect for fairies in SL!

Happy Sunday Second Life!! Sundays are great, even though every day is like Sunday for me.. I still feel really happy when it is the SUNDAY!!! Lots of shopping this week to keep your wallet drained and your inventory bloated :)

1. Atomic skin!! A small release of this brand new skin line is at the Crush Row/Doll City sim, and it's quite lovely. Howeverrrrrrr...... there's a serious lack of choices! I won't pay $7,000L for a fatpack with just 3 makeups and different variations of black eyeliner (light, dark, darker?) and only one lipstick choice. That's not a fatpack... hmm?

So I treated myself to a single makeup! This is the [ATOMIC] FSkin_Stardust_1C_Light. Pretty!

I looooove this 'SpringBreeze' hair from JUNWAVE, and it's only $80L per hair there. Gooo...run... go...

AOHARU has just released the 'Wavy Trench Coat' and it is adorable!!! I like the sculpted details on this coat and the pastel AOHARU-ish colors!! Matches everything. <3
