Nymphetamine - BORDELLO2 Set

Paeoti Pomeray of Nymphetamine Boutique has just released the Bordello2 Set and it is sexay!! Each set includes a corset top (with sleeves and without), panty (with garters and without), multi layer mini-skirt, and a pair of stockings. I'm wearing the Teal and Coral&Pink set above.

There is also a grayscale set that is tintable, so you can tint it any color you want if the colors offered are not exactly what you're looking for. I prefer the colored sets though, because the colors are really vibrant and you can have different colors, not all one color.

New Tiny Bird Bea hair

Tiny Bird has just released the Bea hair. This hairstyle has great short layers all over and some decorative feathers pinned on the side, which totally adds interest. This entry will be a tiny one, just tp to Tiny Bird for Bea & more!

Fishy Strawberry

Fishy Strawberry has hair now!! I'm wearing the newly released Huntress II hair in Sahara color. This style is casual & really cute in the back (you'll have to try a demo to see it!). The hairstyle is cute. Each hair pack includes 2 colors - this one had Platinum and Sahara.

Two short dresses from Fishy Strawberry totally complements the hair. An older release that I don't think I've ever blogged called the Buttoned dress and a new release called the Topolina Dress, both in Pink.

Gala Phoenix Skins APRIL - part 2

Gala Phoenix will be releasing 6 more makeups for the April skins today, but it's really 12 different ones because you get 2 variations of each makeup. I am loving the lip gloss and blush on these new ones, they're so cute giving the skin a slightly flushed look like you've been out in the sun all day. Each makeup also comes with light skin and dark skin versions, so you're getting a fabulous deal with these.

I looove that there are two skin tones available for each skin, for example, the Petal light and dark are similar but different enough that you're really getting two skin tones for the price of one. Many other designers will treat this as a new skin tone, so in my opinion, Gala is super generous with her pricing.

Milk Motion, does a body good!

Milk Motion has just released some adorable loose t-shirts that everybody has been going a bit gaga over. Besides being talented and making skins, clothes, accessories, Marie Lauridsen is also the owner of the cute Cupcake sim! I am wearing the Milk Motion 'my loose tshirt' with a fawn print, pairing it with the Milk Motion 'my boyfriend jeans', and Milk Motion 'my romantic silk blouse' in dots pattern.

The blingphone from Canimal is still one of my favorite purchases ever! It has no practical purpose, it just looks cute and little musical note particle emits from the blingphone (headphone).

Reale Summer Dresses

I saw someone wear a sweater from Reale, so I went there to find it and stumbled upon some pretty short dresses!! I loooove the colors and styles and textures of these!! Reale designer, Mallu Mayo not only is awesome at textures, she has an eye for detail and I adore the small details like lace & ribbons. I seem to be endlessly seeking for cute dresses, even though I have too many. I've already recommended these to a couple of friends already, I think you will find them to be perfect and totally worth adding to your inventory.

For some reason, denim & floral pattern just sounds cheesy but on these, they work perfectly!! I adore the shape of this babydoll dress and the textures and cleavage is just right (sexy but not too skanky?). I'm actually considering getting ALL the colors and I normally don't really need a bunch of colors for any single item, but I need theeeeeeeeeese!!

I think it's so funny when other sites use incomplete data to try and compare their rankings against my website. iheartsl.com was left off that chart, and the wrong url was given for JuicyBomb. I have never had content on JuicyBomb.com, I just use the domain to forward to either wordpress or typepad. My url is juicybomb.typepad.com, which for whatever reason, is not recognized with siteanalytics.compete.com.

LeeZu Brit Pants & Valerie top

LeeZu has just released some beautiful Brit Pants (in Silver), they looked really good in-world and the textures are beautiful. I love the sculpted attachments giving the pants extra feminine details. I have paired these pants with LeeZu's Valerie top in White which is very sheer and sexy, so I wore a BlowPop bra underneath.

You didn't know that the talented Annyka Bekkers is making lingerie now, did you? She'll probably kill me for this buuuut,  couldn't resist the sexy BlowPop Yvette sheer lace set, they make everything look nice! Here's just a little peek.. a proper review when they're released :D

AOHARU Suede Laced Up Sandals

AOHARU has just released these gorgeous Suede Laced Up Sandals and they're super cute, they look like high heels shoes for ballerinas! I could totally dance around in these, the lace legwarmers are a nice touch, you can wear the shoe with or without them.

The shoes are great but you'll need to increase your RenderAvatarLODFactor and RenderVolumeLODFactor in order to view them at their best when zooming out for full-length photos. To do this, enable the ADVANCE menu buy pressing ctrl+alt+D on your keyboard; then go to the  Advanced tab -> Debug Settings, find RenderAvatarLODFactor and RenderVolumeLODFactor and increase them to 10 (just a guess, it worked for me, the default was 1.0).

Katat0nik released the Ice Cream Party dress this weekend to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of her shop! This dress includes a gorgeous pair of bloomers, matching bra, top and matching skirt.

Group members were invited to a party to celebrate with exclusive gifts given, so if you haven't joined the Katat0nik group, you should! Everyone gets an invite if you spend $250L or more at the shop.

And this hair is the Exile 'Rosalie' hair, it includes a pair of heart sunglasses that changes to 8 different textures. The glasses can be worn on the face or on the hair. It's NOT released yet, blame Kavar.. not meeeee!! It should be out soon though!

Silent Sparrow Limited Edition Selador (Candy)

Silent Sparrow had a hunt to find elephants stuffed with limited edition of the Selador outfit in various colors and sold for $350L each. Isn't it lovely? The great thing about this limited ed. set (there's only 50 of each color sold), is that it's transferrable!!

I rarely ever rave about system skirts but this is just so perfect and slimming! I love the options that came with this outfit - there are two full prim skirts, a system skirt, pasties, the Selador top has the option of being worn 'open' to show pasties or with a shirt for a more modest look.

I've decided to give this outfit away to JuicyBomb readers! All you have to do is submit pictures of yourself to the JuicyBomb flickr group, the theme is 'WINTER' interpret that however you want. It's super hot right now where I am, and the pattern on this set reminds me of a snowflake. I hope you guys play along, the outfit is darling! Observations from blogging SL fashion

Quick little rant...

I've been blogging SL fashion for almost two years now and I have to admit, I'm a complete wuss when it comes to giving honest opinions so will either blog stuff I genuinely like or not give any opinions at all and just give you the facts like.. "Here's new hair, new skin, here's a slurl, go shopping SL!"

Do people prefer that or an actual critique? I know designers must like some feedback, since I give my friends really honest critiques in-world when they ask me to check out their products for flaws or things that *I* would change. A lot of times those improvements are made and they end up selling a whole lot more (hopefully).

I've noticed that on this blog, whenever I critique something that I think is 'bad' or not my style, people get bent out of shape over it.

Here are some typical responses I've observed:

1. Whenever I point out something I don't like on a product, for example skins, a dozen people will say, "That's exactly why I like that skin! I love that it has no belly button/has seams/has acne!" Whatever floats your boat.

2. And it doesn't stop there, people will actually go out of their way to purchase said item, and then review it on their blog or flood their Flickr stream with it. "Gogo you're wrong! Let's all go buy 20 copies of [whatever item I simply mentioned I didn't like]."

3. I find it discouraging when people assume I'm a 'negative bitch' or having a bad day in real life which affects to the way I blog Second Life fashion.

I try to say only good things about products most of the time, if you read my blog you'll know that. I blog to let people know what's out there in Second Life to go shopping, not to discourage it. Thankfully there are demos in Second Life for most avatar goods (hair, skin, shoes), because review blogs will NOT point out the flaws or things that may make you think twice before purchasing. Some blogs will, but you won't see it on here (most of the time) for said reasons above.

Exile Dominique Hair

Exile will be releasing this Dominique hair tomorrow!! It's super cute and has a hairband that changes 7 different textures. I couldn't decide if I'm blonde or brunette today, so I'll show both colors! The 'Harlow' blonde from Exile is my favorite tone, it goes with everrryyything!

I totally forgot how much I liked the Laqroki 'Jasmin' skin, I went and picked up another one with pink lipstick today. So cute, right? I want these lips on everything.

Tiny Bird & New Releases!

Tiny Bird has just released this Fuentes hair and it is sooooo pretty. There are vines & flowers weaving through the hair, like a hairband. The flowers are color-changeable to 6 different colors! This hair looks versatile, I can definitely see pairing it with a lot of looks like fairies, boho, summer, etc.

Second Wave Apparel (SWA) has just released the Shorty-Shorts in a bunch of colors and patterns! Shown here is the Shorty-Shorts in Yellow and Pink; to match the Fuentes hair.

Stitch by Stitch has just released the BESS Playsuit, shown here in the Hibiscus print it's a lovely bohemian inspired outfit that can be worn with or without the skirt.

Can you handle the TRUTH?

Cheesy blog title, buuuut... really, can you? We're totally spoiled by Truth with weekly new hair releases! Rather than waiting for one big mega release, I prefer the weekly new releases to keep my attention and inventory from getting slammed all at once! :)

This new Truth Willow hair has a sweet punk rock look, and the hair bow and chunky highlights are texture-changeable via a menu. This hair goes perfectly with the newly released VooDoo Doll dress!!

A slightly more sophisticated style, the Truth Natasha is a short and sassy with texture-changeable hair sticks securing it in place. I'm loving the Anya coat, which I think is perfect for this style. This hair reminds me a bit something a secret agent might wear? Maybe it's because of the Russian themed names in this release! :P

The newly formed House of Hucci brand already has an impressive collection of formal and casual gowns, individual casual pieces and tons of glamourous jewelry!!! I am completely impressed with the huge collection of sparkley and dazzling stuff - the brand officially launches this weekend but you can shop now, the sim is open to the public!
