I woke up this morning to identical note cards sent by two people containing a chat log of two other people saying some very disturbing things. I don't know who the two people in this chat log are, but they sound like total assholes if they're willing to steal other peoples 'shapes' which are not easy to make but they're certainly not HARD with a little patience, anybody can make a decent one. If you want to run a shape business, make your own shapes.

Random Kawaii Stuff

SELFISH is the shop that makes these adorable little 'CHUPA' pacifier things. They're diamond-encrusted! What's not to love? I'm not sure what to wear this with, but if it's perfectly acceptable to walk around the grid with food items attached to your mouth, then why not a pink diamond-encrusted pacifier?

The cute skin I'm wearing was purchased recently from the Heart of Love event, a quick charity event put together to help out a fellow sl-resident in need. The goal has been met, but these skins will be on sale for awhile longer with the proceeds going to RFL or some other charity. If you like this, don't wait! They might be gone forever. I'm wearing the Heart of Love skin modified by Antonia Marat (Miss Artilleri!).

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Pink Fuel! Aside from cute little plushies, Mochi has wearable accessories, such as this lacey heart eyepatch. I am wearing the Bare Rose 'House Call' outfit, one of my favorites!!

Redgrave Leona Skin Preview

Redgrave skins sneak peek!

Emilia Redgrave will be releasing these SOON! The Leona skin is the first Redgrave skins released for 2009. Like all the previous Redgrave skins, Leona is beautiful and comes in a variety of makeup. However, with this release, Redgrave skins will include 2 versions - with hair drawn on and without. Some people like skin with hair drawn on the scalp because it helps create a more natural hairline. I would have liked 2 different brow options if I had the choice between drawn on hair or lighter brows!

Here's Leona 'Pale' with gorgeous makeups! Lots of new eyeshadow colors in this release.

I find it hard to recall DEJAVU hair from memory because all the names are in Japanese and they're really long! For cute hair, I will suffer through the hell that is my inventory and search for it! :P

MALT Fashions has such cute casual clothing but the "After 5ive" line of dresses are my favorite. I was a MALT virgin up until today, since I have never even heard of the brand before. When I got there, of course I had to tp my friend Torie and for some reason we thought it was a good idea to buy matching dresses and take pictures :P

We kinda failed at modeling the dress so off to the photo machine at Juicy for some crazy pictures!

Natura X'mas Skin

You guys know I love skins, right?! Especially nice free skins without any added facial tattoos or wild makeups that would make it unsuitable for daily wear. I stumbled upon info about the free skin at Natura and it is GORGEOUS.

Not a skin review, but an observation

Awhile ago, I made a poll on iheartsl asking people which they would prefer more: A skin with a pretty face but ugly body, or a pretty body but an ugly face... of course an overwhelming majority said they would prefer a pretty face.

Normally I pass over skins that don't have both a pretty face and a decent body, but sometimes I'll buy a skin I'm not 100% happy with just because the good outweighs the bad. D-skin makes gorgeous faces, probably could be my top 3 choices for skins except for a few things that I totally think the creator could improve upon. I know it's personal preference, and after asking around, most people don't even notice the ears but I do and it bugs me.

Shown here is the D-Skin #58, which has a gorgeous face but the ears are freakishly realistic. I know I could wear hair that covers it up but that's not a good solution.

I've noticed that since moving to a new sim, D-Skin has released more skins and the D-Skin #60 has a nice ears!!!! But I really wanted the D-Skin #58 since the tone is a bit tanner and I like that. So I'm crossing my fingers for now, that DynamiteTanaka Payne will be updating the ears on the skin I bought.

And speaking of upgrades.. how about some new feet? These belong to the undead, I want prettier toes, please.

Pretty Winter Stuff & UBU Xmas Boots!

Coke Dreadlow of Urban Bomb Unit (aka UBU) has just released the Xmas version of his popular Rain Boots! OMG they are HOT! The UBU Xmas Rain Boots has blinking Christmas lights with a menu to adjust the blink rate (blink fast, blink normal, blink slow), and a turn on/off option. The details are so cute! One boot has a sculpted bow keeping candy canes tided to the boots as well. I really like that they're a bit scratched up (from stomping around in the snow, of course)! It might be hard to see from this photo but that's really great attention to detail.
